Why Is Proxy Necessary for Knight Online?
Knight Online has been one of the most popular MMORPG games since 2004. Due to the game's PvP-focused structure, party system, and economy, multi-account usage has become practically essential. Managing different classes like priest, warrior, rogue, and mage simultaneously provides significant advantages in PvP battles and boss hunts.
However, Knight Online servers (both USKO and private servers) detect multiple connections from the same IP address. As a result, your accounts may receive temporary or permanent bans. By using ISP IPv4 proxy, you can assign a different, real IP address to each account and prevent the server's multi-client detection.
Additionally, multiple accounts are indispensable for players who trade in the market, set up mining farms, or launch PvP raids in Knight Online. Multi-account usage without proxy is risky and can lead to account losses.
Multi-Account Management and Party Setup
An effective party in Knight Online consists of at least 4-5 characters: 1 priest (heal), 2-3 warriors or rogues (DPS), 1 mage (AoE). To build this party by yourself, you need a separate KO client and a separate IP address for each character.
Use Proxifier to assign a different SOCKS5 proxy profile to each KO client. For example: 1st client → Proxy IP 1, 2nd client → Proxy IP 2, 3rd client → Proxy IP 3. This way, the server perceives each connection as coming from a different player.
Important considerations for party setup: Use a maximum of 1-2 accounts from the same IP, configure different HWID settings for each account, and don't keep party leadership on the same account continuously. These precautions enhance your account security.
With ProxyTurk, you can purchase as many IPs as you need. For a full 8-person party, using 4-8 separate IPs is recommended. Take advantage of bulk purchase pricing.
Using Proxy with KOBot and Supershield
KOBot and Supershield are popular bot programs that provide automation in Knight Online. These programs have SOCKS5 proxy support and allow separate proxy configuration for each bot account.
KOBot proxy setup: Go to the "Proxy" section in KOBot settings, select the proxy type as SOCKS5, and enter the IP:Port:Username:Password credentials from ProxyTurk. Create a separate proxy profile for each bot window.
Supershield users can also configure proxy similarly. Enter SOCKS5 proxy details from Supershield's settings menu. If you're setting up a bot farm, assigning a separate IP to each bot account significantly reduces detection risk.
Caution with bot usage: Farming with many bot accounts in the same area can be seen as suspicious by the server. Using different IPs reduces this risk, but you also need to pay attention to in-game behavior patterns.
ProxyTurk ISP proxies use real ISP IPs. Unlike datacenter IPs, ISP IPs are perceived as normal home connections by game servers, providing an advantage in bot detection.
USKO vs Private Server Proxy Differences
USKO (official Knight Online server) and private servers use different anti-cheat and detection mechanisms. USKO has advanced anti-cheat systems like GameGuard and XIGNCODE, which can detect proxies. ISP IPv4 proxy has a much lower detection risk by these systems compared to datacenter proxy.
Anti-cheat on private servers is generally simpler. Most private servers only use IP-based detection. Therefore, using proxy on private servers is safer, and detection risk is virtually zero with ISP proxy.
Recommendations for USKO: Use ISP IPv4 proxy, get a separate IP for each account, and route through Proxifier. For private servers: ISP proxy is still the best option, but mobile proxy can also work on some lower-budget private servers.
In both cases, IPv6 proxy is not recommended because Knight Online does not offer IPv6 support. Residential proxy may negatively impact the gaming experience due to high ping. ISP IPv4 proxy is the most suitable proxy type for Knight Online.
